Festival Rundown

The 4th Street Art & Music Festival returns for the ninth time as part of the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour.

This year we have a great array of music and art as always.

The Live Music slot times are …

12:00 – 12:30PM COYOTE TERMINAL

1:00PM – 1:45PM FANCY COLORS

2:00PM – 2:45PM CHAPPO

3:00PM – 3:45PM THE BUZZSAW BOYS

4:00PM – 4:45PM EAST RIVER BANDITS

5:00PM – 5:45PM THE VIGOR

6:00PM – 6:45PM THE DO RIGHTS

7:00PM – 7:45PM THE EVERYMEN

8:00PM – 8:45PM SMOOVE SAILORS

9:00PM – 10:00PM 4TH STREET ALL STARS

Our Children’s Area will once again be run by superstar Melissa Pulicare – she will provide activities for the kids all day long – along with Melissa’s activities we will have performances by PRE SCHOOL OF ROCK as well as physical activities run by THREE LITTLE BIRDS.

We will also be joined by BAMBINO CHEF – they will have cupcakes ready for the kids to decorate – get there before they run out

Brew and Libations will be provided by our friends from LUCKY 7’s

Delicious food from RUSTIQUE PIZZA, THE TACO MOBILE, CHILL OUT PIZZA LOUNGE, LEGAL BEANS BBQ AND COOLHAUS ICE CREAM !!

BATTLE LINES – the hottest art game to ever hit Jersey City – artists combine their talents in a competition to create a story with pens on paper – not to be missed –

TF Dutchman – AKA Dutchy will be throwing down an all vinyl reggae/dub set between his live art performances.

scottFREE – Resident JC danceman playing an array of hiphop, funk, soul, indie-rock, dance-rock, house, electro, mash-ups and who knows what else!

Alex Zelenka – Special guest, Crystal Castles Engineer and Remixer – Alex Zelenka is taking a break from the big stages to bring JC some love! Spinning a mix of his own tracks and other bangers for you to dance to and enjoy!

ARTISTS Showing work at the festival include Franc Palaia – Joe Chirchirillo – Mike McNamara – the resident artists of 4th Street – as well as Jonathon Wagner showing his amazing paintings and Ilsi Mol showing her photography.

and we are so excited to welcome back MARK DALZELL who is the curator and creator of “The Guitars Show”

You may remember ‘the Guitars Show’ from years past – Mark returns with new creations and old – a true genius of design, Mark turns guitars into true artworks.

And we welcome Micky Mathis who will be providing a slideshow of Jersey City images that will drape over the buildings of 4th Street as Dusk falls upon us.
